Content creator and Nollywood actor, Adebowale Adedayo, known by his stage name, Mr Macaroni, has opened up about the reason he is working hard to create good films.
The comedian, in a social media post, revealed that he has chosen quality over quantity in churning out content in order to gain the trust of his fans.
He further revealed that he wants to be indispensable and his movies, a must-watch for viewers.
“It’s now quality over quantity. I’m working hard to gain your trust. So that when you see my name as a cast in a new film, you will watch because you know that it will be worth your time,” Mr Macaroni wrote.
Adedayo started as an actor in Nollywood before creating comedy videos. In an interview, he said that he had been an actor for a long time by doing movies and soap operas. He said movie roles were no longer coming at some point and it took a while before he decided to start online comedy.
Debo’s comedy addresses events and real issues in Africa. He always plays the role of a sugar daddy. Earlier, he said he chose the role of a sugar daddy because it represents a good percentage of naughty men who cannot control themselves.
His skits typically feature veterans of Nollywood and the Nigerian entertainment industry, like Pete Edochie, Jim Iyke, Bimbo Ademoye, Lateef Adedimeji, Sola Sobowale, Falz and Mr. P.
He has also featured fellow skit makers like Oga Sabinus (Mr. Funny), KieKie, Remote, and Broda Shaggi. Mr Macaroni has also featured Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife.
