Wike cancels contract for renovation of Okarki school over contractor’s neglect

Governor Nyesom Wike has approved the immediate cancellation of all the contracts awarded for the renovation of Government Secondary School Okarki in Ahoada-West Local Government over abandonment of the project since 2019 by the contractors.

A statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education  Sir Chidi Adiele, said, “For the avoidance of doubts, the affected contractors include Arigbe Nigeria Limited, Reachmax  Global Services Co. and Caro Integrated Services.

“By this announcement, the contractors are directed to handover all Government Property related to the execution of the contracts to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, latest 3rd February 2021.”
