It will be recalled that the family of the deceased announced the death of late Sunday Makinde in the early hours of January 24, 2025. He was aged 65 and is survived by siblings, children and grandchildren.
Commiserating with the Makinde family, the FCT minister expressed deep condolences and emphasised the importance of unity in times of grief.
He shared heartfelt words of support with the family members, assuring them they were not alone in their difficult period.
Aside from the former governors in the entourage of the FCT Minister, report have that some of his political associates also made the trip to Oyo state to commiserate with Governor Seyi Makinde.
Since the news of the demise of late Makinde was made public, friends, political associates of the governors have been paying condolence visits to the family of the deceased.
