Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known for his music name, Wizkid, took to his Twitter account to react to an interview of his former boss, Olubankole Wellington, also well known for his music name, Banky W, with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu

The interview which was centered around his former signee, the Essence singer, Wizkid, featured Banky W with his wife, Adesua Etomi

The EME boss revealed he was disappointed that Wizkid couldn’t make it down to his wedding because he had a show in Dubai at the time.

Banky W also mentioned that Wizkid might still be owing to his record label three albums, though all the exact details slip his memory now

The music executive and politician said Wizkid was to release 5 albums but got to release two out of the five as stipulated in his contract when he made known his intention to leave and he let him go because he wasn’t the type to make someone stay where they didn’t

He said “You know, the details escape me now. But I think it was a 5-album deal in the beginning and he had done 2 solo albums. He’d done the “Super Star” album and the “Ayo” album.

“So, I think he still owed 3 more albums. But he wanted to leave and for me, that was enough.
