The Nigeria police has arraigned one Fatima Umar before a Kano chief magistrate court, sitting at Gyadi Gyadi, for allegedly masterminding a robbery attack on her former boyfriend, Abdullahi Shuaibu.
Police first information report informed the court that Fatima conspired with three other persons all residents of Kano metropolis to launch a robbery attack against the complainant.
The charge sheet further stated that Fatima planned and executed the robbery attack to retaliate her botched relationship with Abdullahi.
Adding that the defendant pained by the decision by Abadullahi not to honour his earlier pledge to marry and proceeded to marry another woman, incited Fatima’s decision to plan the robbery attack , the court heard.
The defendants denied the allegations levied against her, she told the court that the charges filed against her were not true.
Fatima further pray the court to release her on bail.
The presiding judge, chief magistrate Auwal Yusuf adjourned the case to December 24th, for ruling on the bail application made to the court by the accused person.
