A traditional ruler on Wednesday recounted how an unidentified woman in labour delivered a baby boy after calling out the name of the Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike.
The traditional ruler shared the story at the flag off of the construction of a road at the Ahoada West community in Rivers state, with the governor in attendance.

According to the monarch, the pregnant woman, who was having issues with her baby, upon hearing that the governor was planning to visit the community on Wednesday, January 11th began to shout, “The God of Nyesom Wike let me deliver safely”.
He said she shouted the aforementioned statement three times and delivered a baby boy safely.
He added that the family had also requested to name the child after the governor.
