Police Deploy More Men, Intelligence To Free Abducted Kagara Students.

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu has deployed more personnel and assets to free all abducted students at Government science College Kagara in Rafi Local Government area of Niger state kidnapped yesterday by bandits.
The high command stated that it was committed to freeing all the abductees and as such ordered the deployment of additional tactical, intelligence and investigative assets of the Force, which includes, four units of Police Mobile Force (PMF) attached to Operation Puff Adder II, one Unit of Police Special Forces, personnel of the Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU)

Others which are operatives from the Force Intelligence Bureau/ Criminal Investigations Department and Police aerial surveillance helicopter, are to be coordinated by the commissioner of police in charge of Niger state, Mr A Adamu to ensure the release of the victims.
According to the Police in a press statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, a Commissioner of Police, they are to collaborate with other security agencies in the joint massive search and rescue operation ongoing to release the victims unhurt and reunite with their families.
The high command stated that they were irrevocably committed to the safe return of all abductees in the Government Science College, Kagara in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State attack, with the IGP, calling for calm and enjoining members of the community to provide the Force and the security agencies useful, relevant and timely information that can assist in the ongoing search and rescue operations that will lead also to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.
