Bashir Ahmad, a media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, has insisted that former President Goodluck Jonathan has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2023 elections.
There have been unconfirmed reports that Jonathan had joined the party following the purchase of the APC presidential form by a Fulani group for the former president.
However, he denied the reports and said that the forms had been rejected.
Reacting to the denial, Ahmad, via his Twitter page, said that not every plan by a politician is made public it ripens.

He tweeted “When I shared the news of former President Jonathan joining our party, his uninformed supporters insulted me saying that can never happen even in the wildest dream.
“They should know that we know something they don’t know and not everything plan and executed on social media.”
