The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressive Congress has announced the resignation of its National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.
His resignation was announced at the end of a meeting held by the committee on Monday in Abuja.
Also resigning alongside the APC National chairman is the National Secretary of the party, Chief Iyiola Omisore.

During the meeting held by the NWC, Adamu was absent.
However, Omisore, who was present, was locked out of the meeting
Following the resignation, the deputy National chairman, Abubakar Kyari, took over as acting National Chairman.
