Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has urged his predecessor, Adegboyega Oyetola to work with him in order to move the state forward.
Adeleke while speaking with reporters in Osogbo on Monday vowed not to join issues with the former Governor.
He said, “Immediately after the news of the Appeal Court, I called the Former Governor to work with me, up till now he has not called me to congratulate me, my hands are open let’s come together and move Osun forward.”
It would be recalled that Adeleke was declared winner of the state Governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, but the victory was annulled by Tribunal judgement after the then Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola an All Progressive Congress, APC Candidate seek re-dress.
However, Appeal Court in Abuja on Friday reaffirmed Adeleke as the elected Governor of Osun state.
The Governor promised to pay the state workers arrears owned by the past Government.
On the road network in the state, Adeleke promised to provide a good road network across the state.
