The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State on Wednesday buried their differences to celebrate Chief Dan Orbih, a man they described as a political icon of modern politics.
The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, in his goodwill message congratulated Chief Dan Orbih, on his 60th birthday.
The governor, in a statement, wished Orbih many more years of celebration in good health and happiness, praying that God grants him wisdom and grace to continue to serve our great nation, Nigeria.
Obaseki noted, “On behalf of the government and people of Edo State, I congratulate you, Chief Dan Osi Orbih as you join the sexagenarians. I wish you many more years of impactful service to our dear country.”
Edo State Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu led some of the state Executives to celebrate Dan Orbih in Abuja.

Also, the state Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Harrison Omagbon and his wife, a former Commissioner for Education, Lucy Omagbon were on ground too.
The likes of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Dr. Samson Osagie, Former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Lucky Imasuen, Gen. Charles Airhiavbere, Professor Edoba Omoregie and many other APC chieftains including Senator Magius Abe who celebrated Orbih were unanimous in their messages that Chief Dan Orbih is a political builder who has successfully stepped into the shoes of late Chief Tony Anenih.
Peoples Democratic Party National, South-South and Edo State leaders were also on ground right from the Church of the Assumption, Asokoro where prayers were offered to God for Dan Orbih at Sixty years.
Kola Ologbondiyan described Dan Orbih as a true leader who listened and profiled solutions to any problem brought before him.
There was a light entertainment at his Asokoro residence, while the main celebration will take place in Benin after the National convention of the Peoples Democratic Party according to Chief Dan Orbih.
