As Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) announced the suspension of its eight-month-old strike on October 14, some universities have announced their resumption dates to commence academic activities in earnest.

It will be recalled that ASUU embarked on industrial action on February 14, 2022, and
had since extended the strike over failure to reach an agreement with the federal govern-
ment.

It suspended the strike following the rulingby the Appeal Court.

The Union in a press statement announcing the development, had encouraged its mem- bers to resume to work.
