49,722 patients have been discharged from various COVID-19 isolation centres across the country.
However, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has revealed that there are new infections were reported from 13 states bringing the coronavirus toll to 58,198 cases in Nigeria.
136 new cases have been reported on Saturday through NCDC’s Twitter handle with 3 new deaths.
Lagos had the highest number of cases with 41 new cases followed by 27 in Ogun, 19 in Rivers, 10 in Abia and 6 in Oyo states.
Other states with new infections were Plateau-6, Bauchi-5, Ondo-5, Ekiti-4, Kaduna-4, Edo-3, Ebonyi-2, Bayelsa-1, Delta-1, Osun-1 and Yobe-1.
This brings the death toll in Nigeria to 1,106.
