Ed Sheeran, other pop artiste sing for Ukraine

A benefit concert was organised in England by a star-studded group of musicians around the world on the 29th of march to show their solidarity with that suffering from the effects of the war.

The fundraiser concert titled ” Concert for Ukraine”, hosts said the event had raised about $15 million which they said would go to the organisation of Disaster Emergency Committee(DEC) for its humanitarian aid in war-torn Ukraine.

Parts of the world’s most celebrated pop stars took to the stage for the cause: Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Tom Odell, Emelie Sandé, Becky Slope, Gregory Doorman, Snow Watch.

Others who performed at Resorts World Field on Tuesday. Ed Sheeran did a solo of the two-song set from his hits “Perfect” and ” Bad Habits” and also a joint effort done with Cuban-born American artist Camila Cabello, “Bam Bam.”

Tom Odell calls for more donations while playing his song “Another Love,” which has now become a symbol of Ukraine’s resilience on social media.
