Eid-El-Kabir: FUNAAB VC felicitates with Muslims

Prof. Kolawole Salako, Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has felicitated with Muslims in the country on the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

Salako, in his Sallah message signed by Mr. Kola Adepoju, Spokesman for the institution, called on the Muslim faithful to pray for continuous peace and togetherness in the country.

The vice-chancellor urged members of the university community to imbibe and foster the much-needed spirit of sacrifice, cordial neighborliness, and selfless service as espoused by Prophet Mohammed (pboh) in the Holy Quran.

Salako admonished Muslims to harness their thoughts and energies towards a cordial relationship with adherents of other religions in order to sustain and enhance the entrenched and fledging peaceful co-existence on campus.

He appreciated the institution’s Muslim community for their unflinching support and unalloyed cooperation towards his administration’s modest achievements since inception.

He urged them not to relent in joining hands with his administration in the genuine efforts and drive to make FUNAAB a world-class university.

The vice-chancellor assured Muslims and the entire university community of his unwavering commitment to fostering peaceful co-existence among staff, students, and the overall progress and development of FUNAAB.

He prayed Almighty God to grant them long life and prosperity to celebrate many more of Eid-el-Kabir on earth Insha Allah.
