Ekiti United FC resume training as NNL cancels mid-season break

Ekiti United Football Club has resumed training following the cancellation of the three-week mid-season break in the Nigeria National League (NNL).

Coach of the club, Ayodeji Ayeni, disclosed this to newsmen shortly after the training on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti.

Ayeni said that the team had immediately resumed training at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti to prepare for their match against the 3SC of Ibadan.

“We were here on Wednesday morning to commence training in preparation for our next big clash in the NNL as the organizers have said there will not be room for the mid-season break.

”The three-week break had earlier been scheduled to be between April 10 and this Friday.

The match comes up on Sunday at the Dipo Dina Stadium.
