
International rights group, Amnesty International has warned the Lagps State Government to urgently halt plans to carry out secret mass burial for EndSARS victims.
Issuing this warning in a tweet on Monday, Amnesty International asked the Federal authorities to carry out a thorough and independent investigation into the killings, and ensure that those responsible are brought to book.
“The Nigerian authorities must urgently halt their plans to carry out a secret mass burial of #EndSARS victims and instead carry out a thorough and independent investigation into the killings and ensure that those suspected to be responsible are brought to justice in fair trial,” a tweet by the rights organisation read.

The call comes after alleged plans by Lagos state government to hold mass burial for 103 #EndSARS protesters was leaked online.
The LASG, in a leaked memo, had approved the sum of N6.1 million for the mass burial of 103 victims of the #EndSARS protest.
Reacting, the LASG cleared that the 103 victims were not killed at the Lekki tollgate.
