
Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe has urged the family of the late Emir of Kontagora, Alhaji Saidu Namaska to sustain his good legacy.
Abubakar, who is also the Chairman of, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers in a condolence message to the family of the Etsu Nupe on Friday in Bida, said the death of the monarch was painful and has created a wide vacuum which will be difficult to fill.
He said the passing of the Emir was a huge loss to the family, Kontagora emirate, Niger state, and Nigeria at large.
The Etsu Nupe, who expressed shock and sadness over the death of the late emir, described him as a humble father known for fairness and justice.

”On behalf of the Council of Traditional Rulers, I wish to extend our heartfelt commiseration to Gov. Abubakar Sani-Bello, the Kontagora Emirate Council, the people of Kontagora and Niger state on the passing of the highly respected monarch.
”The late emir showed love to people who live in his domain, irrespective of their tribe and religious inclination.
”He was a godly man, who has the interest of his subjects at heart above any other thing,” Abubakar said.
He prayed that Allah rewards his soul with Al-Jannah Firdausi and to as well grant his immediate family, the formidable fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
