Nigerian music star Paul Okoye, otherwise known as Rudeboy, has mocked Nollywood filmmakers over poor movie editing.
In a post shared on his Instagram, the singer publicized a video from a Nollywood film, highlighting a glaring mistake in which a crew member, the sound man holding the microphone, was visibly seen in the scene rather than edited.
He expressed disappointment at their mediocrity while mocking the filmmakers for not noticing the mistake before releasing the movie.
His post quickly gained attention, with many of his followers joining the conversation. While some found the mistake hilarious, others criticised the industry for not maintaining higher production standards.
This isn’t the first time Nollywood has been called out for such blunders. Movie lovers have often pointed out editing errors, continuity issues, and other production flaws in some Nigerian films.
