The Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province Of The Niger, Most Rev. Alexander Ibezim has said that gratitude, thanksgiving, and obedience to God’s words as the best ingredients for achieving success in life.
Ibezim stated this during a special service to mark the Maiden Diocesan Harvest Thanksgiving and Recognition Of Diocesan Auxiliary Ambassadors held at the Cathedral Church Of Saint Faith, Awka, Anambra state.
In his sermon titled ‘Thank You Lord’, Ibezim who doubles as the Bishop of Awka Diocese attributed God’s enormous blessings upon him, his family, and the entire congregation to their trust and dependence on God.
He said, “God’s mercies and grace upon our lives are numerous. The Diocese recorded massive elevations, progress, and developmental projects as well as mission work and planting of many churches.

“God keeps every one of his promises, he doesn’t owe anyone. He lifts those who are weighed down, cares for the widows and orphans, and frustrates the plans of the wicked.”
Eric warned the church against all forms of compromises and putting confidence in powerful people in order not to experience frustration and disappointments.
He further charged the Auxiliary Ambassadors to put the Diocese in limelight by representing her at any time as they are made in the image of God.
Speaking shortly after the service, two of the Auxiliary Ambassadors, Sir Chris Chikwelu and Sir Emmanuel Nwosu pledged their readiness to assist in expanding the gospel by ensuring the mission work moved to all the nooks and crannies of the diocese.
The service had attracted the clergy in the 18 Archdeaconries in the Diocese and featured thanksgiving by the family of Archbishop Ibezim as well as other churches led by their Archdeacons and other mission schools in the diocese.
