How Cubana Chief Priest allegedly made hurtful statement about Ifeanyi Adeleke’s death

Social media went agog on Saturday when it was discovered that popular singer, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido and nightlife personality, Pascal Okechukwu a.k.a Cubana Chief Priest had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The two industry colleagues, known for their friendship, were alleged to have parted ways over an alleged “hurtful” statement made by Cubana Chief Priest on Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

According to Germany-based Nigerian journalist and blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus, the alleged statement caused Davido and his wife, Chioma, who is also the mother to late Ifeanyi, “to cry bitterly”.
Taking to Instagram, Stella wrote: “Popular Crooner David and his friend Cubana chief priest have unfollowed each other on Instagram and are presently not in talking terms over an alleged disrespectful statement the Chief priest allegedly made regarding late Ifeanyi Adeleke.

“According to sources, the statement Cubana Chief Priest made was disrespectful, very careless and insensitive and made Chioma and Davido weep painful tears.
“This made them fall out and Davido unfollowed Cubana Chief priest.Insiders allege that the Chief priest made the statement in presence of his wife and she also chided him for what he said.”
Recall that 3-year-old Ifeanyi died in October 2022 from drowning in the swimming pool of his father’s home.
