I am alive, God is Protecting me, says Christian Chukwu

The former Nigeria Super Eagles Coach, Christian Chukwu on Sunday said he is alive, hale and sound as he debunked his death rumour.

Chukwu who spoke through one of his media aides, Forster Chime, quoted Chukwu as saying, “I am telling them that I am alive and God is protecting me and I pray that those calling me and sending me messages, God will bless everyone.”

Chukwu who recently clocked 70, said he was shocked and disappointed when he saw the news saying he had died.

“You people (journalists) didn’t investigate the story. I don’t know why you people are doing this to me.

“I was surprised when I saw the paper and I asked myself, how come it was not investigated before being published. It’s not that you don’t have my number that you can’t reach me.

“You people should retract the story so that people will stop disturbing me. Help me amend it so I can rest,” he said.
