Kano PDP Endorse Kwankwaso For 2023 Presidential Race

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, Kano state chapter has enjoined former Kano state governor and erstwhile senator representing Kano central Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to jostle for presidency in 2023.
The newly elected state chairman of the party, Shehu Wada Sagagi in his acceptance speech, after taking oath of office emphasized that former governor Kwankwaso parades the requisite skills to govern the affairs of Nigeria.
Sagagi further said the party exco election marked the beginning of 2023 electioneering in Kano state.
“God willing our leader sitting right here (Rabi’u Kwankwaso) is the next president and Abba Kabir Yusuf is the next governor of Kano state.
“The lack of party leadership has allowed Kano state government free ride. I thanked you all,” Sagagi said.
PDP stalewart and former Kano state govermor, Rabiu Musa Kwnakwaso,who witnessed the party election held on Monday night urged the newly installed party leadership to address the dispute ravaging the party by embracing all factions.
Kwankwaso commended the national leadership of the PDP for organizing the state party exco elections.
The Kano state PDP exco election conducted via voice voting has Shehu Wada Sagagi as new state chairman, Dankaka Hussaini Bebeji (Deputy Chairman), Jamilu Abubakar Dambatta (Secretary), Idris Zarewa (Treasurer), Halima Uba Jalli (Women Leader), Hafizu Sharif Gambo (Youth Leader), Sunusi Sirajo Kwankwaso (Organising Secretary), Bashir Aminu Sanata (PRO) Dahiru Maitama Abdullahi (Financial Secretary) and Auwalu Nagero (Auditor).
Others are Hamisu Sa’ad Dogonnama (Vice Chairman, Kano Central), Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa (Vice Chairman, Kano North), Mutari Muhammad Dankadai (Vice Chairman, Kano South), Rabi’u Isa Kofar Mata (Disable leader), I. I Maigida (Legal Adviser), Abubakar Sulaiman Rogo (Assistant Secretary, Kano South) and Binta Musa Bintoto (PRO II).
Other Excutive members were Amina Garba (Assistant Legal Adviser), Faruk Gwadabe (Ex – officio), Ali Ibrahim (Assistant organising secretary, Kano South), Isma’il Sabo Abba (Assistant organising secretary, Kano Central), Jamilu Garba Garo (Assistant organising secretary, Kano North), Atine Abdullahi (Assistant auditor), Aina’u Muhammad Bichi (Assistant Women Leader) and Mariya Sani (Zonal women leader, Kano South).
