The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has vowed to take action against Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, in connection with alleged naira abuse.
Over the weekend, a viral video showing scenes from Tompolo’s 54th birthday celebration made rounds online, showing the former militant leader from Delta State dancing while someone showered him with N1,000 notes.
The video sparked outrage on social media, with Nigerians calling on the EFCC’s intervention.
Responding to the demands, EFCC in a post on its official X handle on Monday said: “Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer!”
