NOA Moves To Support Conduct of Peaceful LG Polls In Kano

Ahead January 16th, the National Orientation Agency, NOA on Monday pledge its commitment towards ensuring the conduct of a hitch free local government elections in Kano state.
The state director NOA, Alh Lawan Haruna Makarfi , who paid a visit to KANSEIC headquarters along Sabon Bakin Zuwo road said ahead of the Local government elections, the agency has activated its offices in all 44 local governments to commence sensitization of communities.
He said “NOA has the mandate to help government organs in executing policies and programs, stating that the forth coming local government elections would be accorded similar attention by the agency”
“Our offices in 44 local governments and are deeply involve in the enlightenment of people in the grassroots on policies and programs of governments.
“At this critical time our officers will redouble their efforts in mobilizing the public on the need to be peaceful in the election process ” Makarfi stated.
In his remarks , KANSEIC chairman, professor Garba Ibrahim Sheka said NOA and KANSEIC are partners in progress, he assured that the commission will inculcate NOA officials in its activities .
