Ogun Schools Resume Tomorrow

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has directed that all schools in the state should resume academic activities tomorrow, Monday, October, 26, 2020.
The governor had last week declared all schools closed in the wake of rising tensions that followed nationwide protests.
Chief Press Secretaty to the governor, Kunle Somorin in a statement said peace had returned to all parts of the state.
This he noted followed organisers’ suspension of protests across the state, “Government has no reservations, whatsoever in reopening schools tomorrow” he stated.
Meanwhile, since the past three days, military personnel have been deployed in some strategic areas of Abeokuta, particularly at Ibara under bridge, Government House, Oke Igbein among others.
