
Gov.Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has called on communities to continue to unite and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations for development to thrive.
Sule made the appeal on Wednesday during the inauguration of officials of Eggon Movement for All Progressives Congress (APC), Nasarawa State Chapter.
Sule, who was represented by his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Mr. Murtala Lamus, said that the importance of unity and peace to human and societal development could not be overemphasized.
The governor appreciated the Eggon nation for supporting his administration to succeed and called for its sustenance.
Sule assured of his continued commitment to providing all-inclusive governance and purposeful leadership in the interest of peace and the overall development of the state.

He commended Dr. Haruna Kigbu, former House of Representatives member for the Lafia/Obi federal constituency, and other Eggon stakeholders for mobilizing their people for his re-election.
The governor restated his continued commitment to key into positive policies and programs that would have a direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.
Mr. Aliyu Bello, the APC Secretary in the state, also has called on the Eggon people to continue to unite in their interest and for the overall development of the state.

Bello also commended those that initiated the movement, saying it is apt in order to ensure the victory of Sule and other APC candidates in 2023.
On his part, Kigbu assured the governor and APC of his continued commitment to mobilize the Eggon nation and other people to support the party beyond 2023.
Kigbu, who is the leader of the Eggon Movement for APC, called on the Eggon people to support Sule to succeed.
Earlier, Messrs James Manzah and Monday Nanza, the Chairman and Secretary of Eggon Movement for APC, respectively, said that they decided to form the movement in order to drum support for the governor and APC beyond 2023.

Other officials inaugurated included were Nasiru Abdul Hamid as Deputy chairman; Mr. Enoch Usman -Assist Secretary; Musa Magaji – Director of planning and Mobilisation; Yusuf Mada – Deputy Director, planning and Mobilisation; Akyen Ayuba Agbas – Director, Security.
Others were Mr. James Egga – Director Legal; Mr. Allanana Attah – Director, Media; Mrs. Elizabeth Azizi Ajegena – Woman Leader; Hajiya Talatu Adamu Musa – Deputy Woman Leader, among others.
