
The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) has conferred professional honors on Mr. Tunde Olufowora, the Chief Executive Officer, Brand I Communications Ltd, and 26 others.
Mr. Jide Ajia, Head, Media, Brand I Communications, made this known in a statement on Tuesday in Lagos.
According to the statement, the institute also admitted Mr. Nnaemeka Ejeh, as an honorary member into its body of fellows at the 2021 edition of the Conferment of Fellowship Award and Dinner.
The NIMN is the highest professional body for marketing professionals and institutions involved in marketing activities and related fields in Nigeria.
Speaking at the dinner, the outgoing President and Chairman of the Council, NIMN, Mr. Anthony Agenmonmen, charged the new fellows to continue to contribute to the growth of marketing as a profession in the country.
Agenmonmen also stressed the need to uphold a high level of professional standard in the discharge of their duties.

“The newly inducted members are individuals that have met the high standard set by the institute and distinguished themselves in marketing and its related areas,” he said.
Olufowora is an accomplished communication and marketing expert with over 29 years of cognate experience spanning media, public relations, and marketing with major brands in Nigeria including The Guardian, THISDAY, and First City Monument Bank.
He was also recently appointed to the board of Spectrum Microfinance Bank Ltd., while Ejeh, who received an honorary fellowship is the current Group Executive, Retail Banking Group, South, First Bank of Nigeria Ltd.
