Kaduna, Zamfara, and Kogi states, on Monday, filed a suit against the Federal Government  before the Supreme Court to stop the implementation of the newly redesigned naira policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The three states in an ex-parte motion prayed the court to grant an interim injunction refraining  the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) from implementing the deadline imposed on the old naira notes from ceasing to be recognized as legal tenders in the country.
