Suspected cultists gang-rape 17-year-old on monthly period

Two suspected cultists have been accused of gang-raping a 17-years-old-girl in Oyo State.

The suspects simply identified as Olamilekan Elijah,23, and Adegoroye Afeez 24, allegedly lured, and raped the victim while on her monthly flow and recorded the illicit act.

This was disclosed in a statement by the field commander of Amotekun, Amitolu Shittu on Thursday.

He said his men responded to a distress call to rescue the victim from the suspects.

The field commander said the victim, who is a resident of Oke Bode in the Iwo local government Area, was on her monthly period when the evil act was perpetrated.

According to him, “The 17 years old was raped and filmed and threatened the lady that the video would be released on social media if she informed anyone about what transpired.

“Her phone was taken to the Iwo police by the suspects (reason undisclosed).

“Our investigations revealed that the two suspects are members of the buccaneers’ confraternity otherwise known as Alora, in the claims of the suspects they claim they only wanted to be fine with the lady.

“The suspects confirmed their membership of the confraternity cult and also said they carried out the act to punish the victim,” the statement read.
