Nigerian-born female footballer playing with FC Barcelona female team Asisat Oshoala has signed a new contract that will see her stay at the Catalan club until 2024.

The Super Falcon captain joined the Spanish side in 2019 Barcelona on loan from Dalian in China.

Oshoala has scored 80 goals, a figure that makes her the sixth-highest scorer in the history of the section.

Speaking on her contact she said “I am very happy to continue in the best team in the world. Not only because of their football, you look off the pitch, and it is because of how they treat the players to keep improving.”

“I’m a striker and I want to keep scoring more goals. I love it. The goal is to keep growing and be happy.”
