A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe has advised politicians in Southeast Nigeria to defect to the ruling party.
Igbokwe, an ally of President Bola Tinubu has always pushed for the Southeast to support the president for the region to be considered for the highest position in the country.
The Lagos-based politician, in several posts, has bashed Southeast politicians for failing to form an alliance with other regions for political gains.
He warned that the region will continue to be marginalised politically if it isolates itself.
He wrote, “If South East can listen to me , if SE can play the real politics, if SE can take hard decisions, if SE can join the committee of civilized States in Nigeria, if SE can take the bull by the horns it is time to move Enugu, Abia, and Anambra states to APC.”
