Abba Bichi, son of the Director-General of the Department of State Security (DSS) has mocked Peter Obi over the presidential election tribunal which commenced on Monday.
Taking to his Instagram page, Bichi wrote “Legally elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If Peter Obi likes, let him go to heaven. Heaven will still send him back and declare Asiwaju the president of this great nation.”
ThisNigeria reports that the presidential tribunal commenced on Monday, following petition by aggrieved parties challenging the outcome of the February 25th presidential election conducted by INEC.

INEC had declared the candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu President-Elect after he garnered a total 8,794,726 votes to beat the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and Labour Carty candidate, Peter Obi who polled 6,984,520 and 6,101,533 respectively.
Dissatisfied by the outcome of the election, candidates of the opposition parties, Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar called for the annulment of the results of the election, citing electoral violence, voters apathy, irregularities on the part of INEC, amongst other allegations.
