During a meeting of the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) with the Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union of NUPENG, it was revealed that the use of speed limiting devices is mandatory for vehicles in vehicles in the country.
Corps commandant Saliu Galadunci, who is the Rivers Sector Commander of FRSC stated that it is especially imperative that the speed limiting devices be fitted on vehicles that transport petroleum products so as to prevent the increasing number of accidents in the country that has claimed lives and destroyed properties.
It is very vital that drivers take safety seriously, and the use of speed limiting devices is key. Commandant Saliu also stressed that having enough rest is before driving is important too.
