Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has disclosed that projects executed by his administration will be inaugurated over 31 days as part of activities marking the third anniversary of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Wike announced this during a political luncheon in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He said that the extended commissioning exercise would be an opportunity to showcase the scale of infrastructure development recorded in Abuja under the Tinubu administration.

The former Rivers State governor also took a swipe at critics of the current administration, insisting that the achievements recorded in the FCT were visible and unmatched in both scope and quality.

“This third year of Mr President alone, we are taking 31 days for the commissioning of projects in Abuja. I’m not talking about boreholes. I challenge anybody to contradict this,” the minister stated.

According to him, the transformation taking place across the nation’s capital reflects focused governance and deliberate leadership, as he challenged opposition figures to point to similar achievements elsewhere.

Speaking further, Wike shifted attention to the lingering political crisis in Rivers State and adopted a conciliatory stance, announcing that he had pardoned all those involved in the conflict against him.

“I use this opportunity today to announce that I have forgiven everybody,” Wike declared, maintaining that endless political battles would not advance the interest of the state or its people.

“I want you to come back home sincerely. We have played politics, we have abused ourselves; this is the right time for you to come back,” he added, calling on former political associates and rivals to embrace reconciliation and unity.
