The Defence Headquarters (DHQ), on Monday, said, troops of Operation Hadarin Daji has killed another notorious terrorist kingpin identified as Mr, Bada and another terrorist fighter in different locations in Zamfara state.
The Director, of Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami, in a statement, also disclosed that on 6 November 2022, troops responded to the terrorist attack at Gamraki village, Kwatarkwashi District of Bungudu Local Government Area, Zamfara State.
The troops he said, discovered and engaged terrorists who had kidnapped 2 locals, rescued the kidnapped victims and killed one terrorist while others fled with gunshot injuries.

The troops, he further disclosed, recovered 1 AK 47 rifle, 1 magazine, and 2 rounds of 7.62mm special among others.
“In a similar development, troops also responded to the terrorist attack on farmers harvesting their produce at Yar Tashar village in Maru Local Government Area, Zamfara state. Troops killed a notorious terrorist kingpin identified as Mr Bada,” the statement said.
Bada, he noted, was said, to have attacked Yar Tashar village market and killed some farmers on 13 October 2022.
He added that troops recovered 1 motorcycle, some weapons and valuables, during the operation.
Danmadami concluded that the military high command commends troops of Operation Hadarin Daji and encourages the public to avail troops with credible and timely information on criminal activities.
