Some Muslims in Maiduguri have set ablaze, a banner bearing the face of Nigerian singer, Davido over a controversial video involving observation of prayers in Islam.
ThisNigeria had reported that the video had sparked outrage on social media, with Muslims calling on the singer to take down the video and issue an apology.
The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) also issued a 7-day ultimatum to Davido to apologise or face legal and spiritual warfare.
The singer took down the video during the weekend. However, he has not issued an apology as of the time of filing this report.
