Why you shouldn’t allow your wife call you baby, other pet names – Prophet Ritabbi
Founder of Christ As of Old Ministry, Prophet Ezenwa George Ritabbi also known as Prophet Ritabbi has cautioned men whose wives address with pet names.
The preacher, during a live service said it is a sign of disrespect for a wife to address her husband with a pet name, stressing that women refer to men they regard as their lords, glory and honour.
The pastor recalled how she stopped his wife from addressing him with a pet name during a church service, insinuating that it could also mean the woman is cheating on her husband.
He said, “Never allow your wife to call you pet names by calling you baby, sweetheart. My wife won’t do that to me, I think you were here when I stopped her.
“When your wife calls you baby, what is baby in the Igbo language? Tata. And you know tata must be treated like tata. And you know women like tata and one tata cannot be enough for them, they need three or tatas. So, every man that comes close to them is their tata. My wife calls me nnam, I’m your Lord, not baby, sweetheart, my love. Don’t use pet names for me, I’m the overseer over your life.
“Have you asked yourself why every female banker fears her bank manager more than her husband? Every woman fears their pastors, their bosses than their husbands. Do you know why? Their boss calls them by their name and they answer ‘yes sir’, how much more you that feed and cloth them?”
