Arsenal wins community shield

Arsenal went ahead to win the community shield on Saturday. The win came on the heels of a 1-1 draw that stretched into penalties.

Arsenal opened the scoring with a goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The goal was Aubameyang’s fifth in three games and was enough to give them the hope of winning the match in regular time until Takumi Minamino equalised for Liverpool later in the match.

The game went on to penalties and Arsenal scored their five penalties to cancel out Liverpool’s four.
