Lagos is succeeding due to its succession plan – Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has said that Lagos State is succeeding due to its excellent succession plan.

Wike said this during a meeting with APC support groups and River State PDP governorship candidate Siminialaye Fubara.

The governor was represented by by the PDP Chairman, Ambassador Desmond Akawo.

He attributed the success of Lagos State to the seamless transition of leadership from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Babatunde Fashola and then to the incumbent governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He said “Lagos State is succeeding because it has a better succession plan, from Asiwaju to Babatunde Fashola to the incumbent governor of Lagos State, and Sim is a man who understands Rivers State.

The governor also acknowledged that Rivers State had been at loggerheads with the Federal Government for some years, adding that they can no longer continue in that manner.
