A man has claimed to be the biological father of Grammy-winning singer, Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid.
The man, whose name was not disclosed, made this claim during a service at the Revelation of God Fire Ministry, Benin City, Edo State.
The preacher of the ministry had called out the man for a prophetic session, during which he told he told the man that he had rich people who failed to him financially.
The pastor said, “You have rich people around you, millionaires. I see someone like Wizkid.”
The man replied, “Yes, he is my son before his mother now married Balogun,” claiming he was denied access to his son by his late mother, Jane Balogun.
The pastor further said, “He is a big musician”.
The man, in a convincing tone said, “It’s Wizkid, Davido’s friend. Look at me well, I’m Wizkid’s father. He is a billionaire.”
As of press time, the singer is yet to confirm or deny the claim.
