The suspension of four House of Assembly members in Ondo state has been overturned by an Ondo state High court in Akure on Friday.
The four House of Assembly members were suspended on the grounds of supposed involvement in gross misconduct some weeks ago. However, their suspension is rumoured to be politically motivated, as they were not in support of the impeachment of Mr Agboola Ajayi, the deputy governor of Ondo state, after his resignation from the APC in June.
Justice Ademola Bola, presiding over the case, declared that the suspended the House of Assembly members be reinstated and receive a restitution of five million Naira.
