The Wife of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has commended the national chairman of the party, Senator Abdulahi Adamu for receiving them and also making plans ahead of the general election that APC emerges the winner disclosing that her visit was a thing of joy to her and the women.
Tinubu who was in the party national secretariat on a courtesy visit with her team of women supporters noted that since campaign is yet to commence, it will be good that they make the visit so as to intimate the chairman of some of their activities which they have line up when the campaign start by end of September.
She explained that they are willing and ready to win the presidency because they are preparing seriously for it and very soon they will be rolling out their campaign programs for the nation and most especially for the women who will surely form the trust of their campaign.
She said: ” It is a thing of joy that we are here on courtesy and solidarity visit and to intimate you on our activities, we are still fine turning our structure ahead of the official campaign. This is to tell you that we have been busy though quietly and what we are doing is to ensure that we are here to tell you that Nigerian women are working.

“We are ready to mobilize for victory for our party come 2023 very soon we will come out with our program , at the Tinubu/Shettima women campaign council that is what we are called. We also want to commend you for the great leadership you have shown our great party and bringing respectability to the party and the hitch free primary we just conducted”, she stated.
In his remarks, the National chairman of the party, Senator Abdulahi Adamu said it is more than a pleasure to receive the mothers of the nation led by no other person than the distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu and her entourage maintaining that there is no other option than victory for the party.
He noted: ” It is a pleasure you are standing by our principals, the presidential candidate and the vice, that though you are working in silence, the nitty gritty of Tinubu Shettima women campaign council is not known yet, you are keeping it to your chest until you go public. But silence has noise which is having a great following under your leadership and we are grateful that you find time this early to come and meet with us in the home of the APC, the secretariat that we call Buhari house. You are most welcome.
“All we can say at this point in time is to appreciate you for your drive, for your conscientiousness and commitments to the success of this campaign. I want to assure you that whatever you come up with by the way of plans to ensure maximum mobilization in the efforts we will be making as members of the national working committee of the party, we will stand by you.
“We have promised to stand shoulder to shoulder with both the presidential candidate and his vice , so to that extent you can be rest assured that we will be together in this race. Whatsoever you want us to do, we will do it willingly to ensure success.
“Now your own journey may be a little bit difficult because of customary mannerisms. Some of the best brains are among you women, some of the most hardworking people are among women but because of who we are we have not yet seen the best of our women. I believe that by the grace of God, the people that want to be president and vice will add value to where president Buhari will be leaving it. And the legacies that president Buhari is working on by the grace of God will consolidate by the time he disengages and we will continue with the good work.
“President Buhari will not be on the ticket in 2023 but his spirit and his driving spirit and progressiveness will be with us in whatever we do in 2023. As far as we are concern in the Buhari house, as leaders of the APC, Buhari is very much on the ticket. You will not see his picture on the ballot paper but his spirit will drive these efforts. He is doing so much in trying times under difficult situation and he is doing everything to everyone’s satisfaction. We want you, we want your voice to be heard now more than ever before and if we check by the voices we are hearing in this hall Nigerians aren’t seen nothing yet.
” We trust you both of us who are your colleagues in the Senate, we know what you can do , we want you to replicate and improve on the testimony we are giving about you. It is my hope that this spirit and drive will guide our efforts going forward.
” Let me emphasize one thing, there is no option but victory. You must leave no stone unturned. This government must be returned by the grace of God. I believe in God , I also believe in working hard. We have to work for victory and no option what so ever. We are not working to end at the tribunal, we are working to end at the villa. You must not be ashamed of saying this”, he stated.
